I also disagree with this statement in the NY Times article: The gunman, identified by the police as Brandon McInerney, “is just as much a victim as Lawrence,” said Masen Davis, executive director of the Transgender Law Center. “He’s a victim of homophobia and hate.” Bullshit! Lawrence is dead. The Gunman Brandon is not. Give me a break. That is a retarded "PC" statement. I've known plenty of bigots in my time, even ones who owned guns, and none of them went shooting those they discriminated against. I don't feel sorry for Brandon. I don't hate him or anything but he deserves whatever punishment he gets.
